The D-Pocket jacket gets its inspiration from American and European leather biker jackets of the 1940's to 1950's. This era was the genesis of the motorcycle jacket. The vintage styling and details will surely get attention but they're not just for looks. This jacket has been well designed to be beautiful and functional. There are plenty of pockets to keep gear (without it falling out). To keep out drafts there are cinch belts, a throat latch, and sleeve zippers (mounted on top to avoid scratching the reservoir). Action pleats and slightly cantilevered sleeves complete the look and add riding comfort. Not to mention top notch workmanship from experienced tailors.
A timeless design where form follows function.
The Ladies' D-Pocket jacket is the feminine "alter-ego" of our D-pocket S. It has a curved and tapered feminine silhouette and maintains all the character of our classic D-pocket. Please note that our Ladies version does not include an inside pocket due to certain "equipment" requirements specific to ladies ;-) There are still plenty of pockets to keep gear (so a purse is optional). It retains all the details that make our D-pocket design unique. Top notch workmanship from experienced tailors is needed more than ever to make a jacket with flattering lines and necessary curves to hug a woman's body.
Our ladies' jacket is fully made to measure so a complete set of measurements are needed.
The Café Racer motorcycle jacket is a 1950's to 1960's inspired design when the elements of a motorcycle jacket were boiled down to the essentials. The slanted pocket zippers, top side sleeve zips (to avoid scratching the reservoir), mandarin snap collar, action back with slightly cantilevered sleeves, cinch belts, and a curved kidney panel strike the right balance of style and functional minimalism. High quality materials and workmanship completes the package. This is the right jacket for riding a vintage motorcycle. Of course it looks just as good without the bike!
The pure sleek lines of this jacket make it vintage yet contemporary.
A 1950's inspired design with racy lines and biker elements including the iconic D-pocket.
A pure breed motorcycle jacket with all the classic details.
This is a special version of our best selling D-Pocket jacket with a half belt design. We call it the D-Pocket ''S''. As with the D-pocket, this jacket is a 1940's - 1950's inspired angled zip motorcycle jacket.
A variation on our best selling timeless classic.
The Luftwaffe is a 1930's to 1940's military style leather pilot's jacket. The design is sometimes called the "Cycliste" because they were French made jackets for bicycle riders. The tapered and short jacket design was perfect in the cold and drafty cockpit of the early Messerschmitt warplanes and these jackets were adopted by a number of Luftwaffe pilots as a part of their uniform. But since these were not official military issue items there were many variations on the theme. Our jacket is ruggedly handsome with just the right amount of vintage and functional details and put together with pride and quality materials.
This jacket says understated elegance.
The double breasted or "Doppelreihiger" Luftwaffe style was made famous by the German flying ace Hans Joachim Marseille. Marseille and other German WWII pilots needed warm gear to protect them from the drafty cockpits as they took to the skies. They commissioned their personal tailors to create their own unique and stylish flight jackets. Our jacket is true to the originals with period correct details, materials, workmanship, and iconic styling. The details include real leather buttons, sleeve adjustment straps, cinch belts in the back, German style zipper, throat latch, and zigzag stitching under the collar. The old world workmanship and high quality materials makes this jacket as good if not better than the originals.
An heirloom quality piece with style and personality.
The trench coat was originally used by officers in WWI. The style was dubbed "trench coat" by the soldiers fighting in the trenches on the front line. The long double breasted belted pattern provided perfect protection against the elements. The elegant style soon gained popularity off the battlefield as well and it became a staple of many a gentleman's wardrobe. During WWII many variations of the style emerged and were issued to soldiers on both sides. Our version is loosely based on a US Army pattern of this era and hand made using the same techniques that were used back then.
An enduring style that hasn’t aged for nearly a century.
The "Gangster" is inspired by the wool overcoats worn in the 1930's and 40's. This design is reminiscent of the styles worn by James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart in the movies. It harks back to a time when gentlemen cared just as much about looking good as they did about protection from the elements. No boxy, straight, minimal styling here. It has all the typical details you would want in a piece of clothing from the heyday of prohibition and gangster chic. Double breasted with wide lapels, button through half-belt, action pleat in the back, patch pockets, and cuffed sleeves all add to the aura. These coats are tailored like they would have been in Al Capone's days. Please note: Fedora and Tommy gun not included ;-)
An elegant design that looks as stylish today as it did back then.
The leather Safari Coat is a military inspired field jacket or bush coat design popular during the 1930's all the way through to WWII. The jackets of the era were in cotton and there was a revival of this style in the 1970's in leather. Our interpretation of this classic is bound to get attention while being functional and elegant at the same time. There are four buttoned bellows pockets to keep plenty of gear. A button through half belt and action pleats in the back. The sleeve adjustment straps will keep drafts out whether you're on adventure in the wild or the concrete jungle. The jacket is made as rugged as it looks using the best materials and care is taken in sewing it together.
A truly classic style for gentlemen on or off the bike.
This elegant mid length style is a 1940's / 1950's inspired motoring jacket sometimes referred to as car-coat or trucker jacket. The clean lines of this jacket are all designed keeping in mind that this is one coat that you don't take off in your car. There is no belt in the back that would interfere with a comfortable sitting position, the pockets are ergonomically designed to be easily accessible, the zipper ends to leave an opening at the bottom, the sleeves are slightly cantilevered for the driving position, and there are action arms for ease of movement.
A clean and functional design that is elegant and stylish with or without the convertible roadster.
